The Gambler 500
When a friend called and asked if I wanted to drive across state line and participate in the Gambler 500, I couldn't say no. Armed with a modified 1991 Lexus LS400, a CB radio, and a healthy disregard for what the car was designed to do, we set out on an adventure through logging roads, fire trails, and the Oregon backcountry. What followed was a weekend of dirt, roadside repairs, and automotive chaos.
